On Wednesday evening, 5th and 6th grade families were transported back in time when Mount Vesuvius exploded. They collaborated and communicated with teams  to create a device that could help rescue citizens from the top. The goal was to bring their passengers down, on a zipline, to safety in Pompeii. Thankfully, all of our families were able to survive the disaster and competed pretty heavily for the fastest transport time. The creation of their devices involved science, math, engineering, art and technology. Don’t worry, STEAM Maker Nights for students in grades K-4 will be coming up later in the year. We hope to see you there!

Here is our culminating result on our Husky Padlet.
