There is no parking along Cypress Ave. where the red (X) is located.

To ensure the safety of our students, both lots will be closed from 8:20–8:40am and during dismissal between 2:50–3:10pm. Students should not arrive at school earlier than 8:25am because there is no adult supervision.  It is important to notify the school office and your child’s teacher of permanent daycare arrangements.  We want to have a clear understanding of where our students are going at the end of the day to help ensure their safety.  We ask that you share this information in writing before the first day of school, and update us if your childcare arrangements change throughout the school year.

Dismissal Procedures
Students will be dismissed at 3:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 2:30 on Wednesdays.  If you plan to pull into our lot, please know the parking lot closes from 2:50-3:10 and there are limited spots. We encourage you to designate a meet-up spot with your child if you plan to pick up on foot or by car.

If at any time you have a change in the way your child will get home, please inform your child’s teacher and the main office.
Starting on day one of school and continuing through the year, students will be dismissed from their grade level doors as well.
Thank you so much for your patience and partnership to ensure a safe arrival and dismissal for our students each day.

Busing
Information regarding bus routes will be mailed to your home before school begins on August 15th. If you have not received your bus, please call the main office at 630.736.4230

Drop and Go
If you plan to drive your student to school, please feel free to park in the surrounding neighborhood, paying close attention to parking signs.  Students should use the crossing guard and sidewalks as they enter and leave the building.

Bus Riders
Larger buses will drop students off at the main entrance of the school. Smaller buses will drop off in the lot. Supervision will be provided to assist students off of the buses. Please have your child attach their bus pass to their backpack. Please review your child’s pick up and drop off location and times prior to school starting.  If your child has a change in pick up, please be sure to let us know.

Kindergarten Screening
All kindergarten screening appointments were sent to you this week. Please reach out to our secretaries at 630.736.4230 if you have any questions.

No Food Deliveries Allowed
With a focus on student and staff safety, District 54 will not allow food delivery services (including, but not limited to, GrubHub, DoorDash, and local restaurants) to our schools. We will continue to have hot lunch days, which are planned events, organized and supervised by school or PTA volunteers. However, we will no longer accept other outside food deliveries to keep our schools secure.
