Each month, the Respect Committee at Hanover Highlands will pick a disability to raise awareness for. We will provide some information to classrooms about the disability and pick a Tuesday during that month to wear a specific color to show our support. January is Vision Impairments and Blindness Awareness, and we will be wearing white on Tuesday, January 24th. Join us!
What is the difference between a vision impairment and blindness?
A Visual Impairment means you have some vision but need more than glasses to help you see. Blindness means you have no vision and cannot see at all.
