Ms. Duda and her sister have enjoyed reading The Private Lives of the Tudors. It is a book about England's history and how they lived, ate, dressed, and what it was like in the royal court. It also talks about one of England's most well known Kings, Henry the 8th. Have you read any historical books this summer? #HanoverReads

Ms. Little recently got to relax and enjoy reading Inside Out & Back Again. It's beautifully written in free verse poetry, from the perspective of Ha, which allows the reader to learn her innermost thoughts & feelings on her transition from Vietnam to America. Highly recommended! What books have you been enjoying lately? #HanoverReads

While at the school, checking out, the raised bed, vegetable gardens, Mr. V floated around front to make sure the pollinators were around and doing their job... are you able to spot one in the middle of their work shift? The native monarch butterfly waystation flower garden is in full effect and looking great. Next trip out, Mr. V will do a little bit of weeding and pull out some of the invasive that need to come out, but it's looking pretty lush, and there were plenty of friendly bees floating about!

The little library out front is reorganized, and a few fresh titles have been added.. There's a little bit of something for everyone, regardless of age, including a few board books and puzzle books that have found their way in. With a few weeks left of summer and at times may be too hot to go outside, find yourself in a little nook with some air-conditioning and a great read!
