Over the next few weeks, we at Hanover Highlands, may have some extra vegetables ready for harvest. Back in the spring, the Hanover Highlands Environmental Club put together [along with the help of our good friends at the district grounds crew] three raised bed gardens. Over the summer, with the help of mother nature and a few families who had children in the club, we’ve been able to maintain the gardens and recently, have been able to harvest some. IF you and your family maybe interested in the occasional tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers or zucchini, please email Mr. V at [email protected], the Environmental Club Sponsor. As things ripen and are picked, he’ll try and connect with those interested.
