Support our Husky “Boxes of Love” staring 2/10. A flyer will go home today and one is attached to this email as well. We are so excited to collect cereal for our D54 Food Pantry, and to have some fun with our boxes. Thank you Happiness Committee for engaging our community.
Valentine’s Day Reminders
As a reminder, we do not have Valentine’s Day parties, however, students enjoy the day sending some gratitude and love to fellow Huskies. If your child would like to pass out valentines, each classroom will set aside time for a valentine exchange on February 14th. Please remember that it cannot contain any food or candy items and there must be a valentine for every student in the classroom. Any editable items will be sent back home with the student who brought them.
February 14th- 1/2 Day
As we have done in the past, we will use this 1/2 day opportunity to engage in whole-school activities that explore kindness and belonging. Students work with their Buddy Classes throughout the day and take time to spread kindness to our peers, staff and community.
