In grades 1-6, we would love to warmly welcome our Huskies for the 26-27 school year together on the back playground between 8:25-8:40am. Our SOAR instructional classrooms will line up outside Door 3.
The map above indicates where your child's classroom teacher will be located on the first day of school. All 5th and 6th graders can enter through Door 9. Your teachers will be waiting for you!
Car Riders: Drop off Lane - AM ONLY
Students may be dropped off in front of the school in the car drop off lane designated on the northside of Cypress Ave. by the sidewalk in front of the school. Cypress Ave. is a One Way during school hours.
Cars must pull all the way up as far as possible before letting your student out of the car on the

Parents should have students ready to exit the vehicle quickly
A staff member will help the student exit the car if possible
*Bussers (on this day) will be guided from the West Lot drop off zone to the back playground to join their classes on the first day only!
Afternoon: Students will be dismissed out of their grade level doors by classroom teachers. **For safety purposes grades K-3 staff will need a visual of parent/pick up person (from IC) unless the parent says they are able to walk by themselves.
Alternate Dismissal Pick Up

Electric bikes, Scooters and Skateboards
Electric bikes, scooters and skateboards are not permitted on District 54 property, due to safety concerns including the potential for accidents and the possibility of fire associated with such devices. This applies to students, as well as to family members and friends who may be picking up or dropping off students at school.
